QFA raises over £1500 for The Trussell Trust

We are delighted to announce that we have raised £1,550 for The Trussell Trust food banks.

Between 1 April 2022 and 30 September 2022, food banks in the Trussell Trust’s UK-wide network distributed 1.3 million food parcels to people facing hardship – this is an increase of 52% compared to the same period in 2019. Half a million of these parcels were distributed to children.

Unfortunately the situation has got worse since the cost of living crisis, see https://vimeo.com/715482768/c826808297

Leveraging our continued rapid growth with over 60 new franchisor members in the last 12 months we were able to raise funds to support families struggling with the cost of living crisis.

Joel Bissitt, CEO comments “Food poverty is a disgrace in modern Britain. With the rises in interest rates & inflation it was a real concern to me how families, already struggling following the pandemic, would be able to cope. I spoke to The Trussell Trust & they confirmed my fears that the situation had got worse. I was delighted to get involved & do whatever we could to support this worthy cause, demonstrating the positive impact franchising can have in society”.
