Quality Franchise Association Launches Friday Franchising Matters

Friday Franchising Matters

We’re pleased to share that the first of our new virtual meetings called Friday Franchising Matters has taken off well, with the first group having taken place on Friday 4th February 2022.

The groups take place at 1pm on the first Friday of every month, and are for franchisors to gather in an online private video call on the QFA meeting room to discuss topics of their choice. Exclusively for Quality Franchise Association members, the Friday Franchising Matters groups enable franchisors to openly discuss franchising related matters with other members.

The February meeting held strong discussions between many franchisors from a diverse range of sectors. From baby and toddler movement class franchise to oven cleaning, despite the differences in industry the group discussion shared plenty of common ground for discussion.

Some of the discussions which took place during the video call included:

  • Introductions – Who everyone is, what franchises they own, how many franchisees and what they do.
  • Lead generation – Which methods are working well for generating leads, and not just gathering enquiries, but filtering out poor enquiries and keeping strong leads engaged and progressing through the stages of franchisee recruitment.
  • Franchise confidentiality agreements – Why they’re important and what should you include in them?

At around an hour and 15 minutes in duration and with plenty to discuss in the last meet up, it’s clear that the Friday Franchising Matters franchisor discussion groups are an effective way to discuss tips, concerns and ideas within the franchising sector. From marketing ideas to legal disputes, recruitment strategies to franchisee resells, why not drop in to the next meeting?

You can learn more about the Friday Franchise Matters groups at the QFA, or if you’re not a member you can join from less than £1 a day.
